Pebax 7233 is a nylon elastomer, belonging to the category of engineering polymers, with a relatively wide hardness range and good resilience, as well as outstanding low-temperature impact resistance. It is resistant to most chemicals and exhibits excellent aging and sunlight exposure resistance.

These properties make Pebax elastic materials widely used in various fields, including medical devices and medical extrusion (tubing), which can be categorized into stent balloon tubing, braided reinforced tubes (delivery systems), multi-lumen tubes (capable of accommodating guidewires, liquids, gases, etc.), venous catheters, and high-performance materials. Depending on the design, there may be co-extruded tubes, tapered tubes, tip tubes, pigtail tubes, and other types of catheters produced through further processing.
